About Us

EOMP was established by members of Eastern Oregon Mining Association in 1996 and has been active since 1999. We are located in Baker City, Oregon which was the heart of the early gold mining activity. EOMP has seven mining claims which are available to our members and located within one hour of Baker City. We hold several rendezvous' during the summer where we teach members how to find and recover gold while teaching about sound environmental mining and forest usage. Members receive a newsletter which is posted on this website.
